Changes at the Griffith house....

As of last Tuesday, I accepted a new job. I will be working PRN (as needed) at Parkway Medical Center in the ICU. As you all know, I am currently employed at Huntsville Hospital working Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm. (Which is great hours) However; working so far away, 8 hour shifts, I am leaving Trae at daycare approximately 10-10 1/2 hrs per day. So after a lot of discussion John and I decided to make a bold move and live on a stricter budget in order for me to quit working full time hours. The plan is that I will take Trae out of daycare, stay home with him and work approx 2 12hr shifts per week on John's off days. In theory, it sounds like a win-win situation. Hopefully, that is what it will be!!

On another note, Trae had his 9 month check up today. Everything is going just great. He had reached all the milestones they check for at 9 months. He is 19 lbs 9 ozs. which makes him between the 25th - 50th percentile for weight. He is 28 inches tall which is the 5oth percentile for height. So he is just growing like a weed. Dr Hays office also checked his iron which was just above the cut off for being considered anemic so we are going to try to supplement his diet with more iron rich foods. But other than that, things are going great at the Griffith household.
