Time to tan!

Today John and I took Trae, Justin, and Zac to Pt. Mallard water park for the day. We spent about 6 hours in the sun. The boys loved it (including Trae). We all had a good day together and we came home with what will be a nice tan. Of course after the burn. This was Trae's first experience in the pool. John and I were pretty sure he would enjoy it b/c he loves bath time. He would have preferred the water be a little warmer though.

Memorial Weekend: Sunday

Sunday John, Trae, and I enjoyed our day with a cook out with some family friends. Then we went to Pt Mallard with our friends to see the balloon glow, bands, and fireworks. Trae enjoyed the fireworks.

Saturday John and I took Justin, Zachary, and Trae out to the Jubilee at Point Mallard Park. We had a blast. Trae was such a wonderful child the whole day. He never fussed, and we were outside most of the day. We watched some skydivers and listened to some live music. We also stayed to see the balloon glow. Trae sat on grass for the first time ever. He wasn't that impressed with it. It was just another thing to him. The energizer bunny balloon was there, hence the bunny ears. We plan on going back out there tomorrow evening at some time to hear some more music and watch some fireworks. I can't wait to see what Trae thinks about fireworks. We are also going to some friends of ours BBQ tomorrow. So hopefully I will have some pictures to post.
